These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of IEPPY (the “service”). By creating an account or using IEPPY, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What IEPPY is — and is not
IEPPY is an organizational and educational tool that helps parents and guardians track and prepare for IEP and 504 meetings, goals, deadlines, and documents.
IEPPY does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for a qualified attorney, special-education advocate, or medical or educational professional. Deadline calculations and templates are general information based on federal IDEA baselines; your state, district, and individual circumstances may differ. Always confirm important dates and rights with your school district or a qualified professional. You are responsible for the decisions you make.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the information and documents you add to IEPPY (“your content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service for you and the people you invite. You represent that you have the right to upload the content you add and to share it with any co-guardians you invite.
4. Sharing and invited users
IEPPY lets you invite co-guardians or advocates to a child's profile. When you invite someone, you authorize them to view and, based on their role, contribute to that child's information. You are responsible for who you invite and can revoke access at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use IEPPY for any unlawful purpose or to upload unlawful content.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access, or otherwise interfere with the security of the service.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
6. Plans, free tier, and billing
IEPPY offers a free tier and paid plans. Free and paid features and limits are described in the app and may change over time. If you purchase a paid plan, you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge the applicable fees. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We will give reasonable notice of price changes.
7. Service availability and changes
We work to keep IEPPY available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. We will make reasonable efforts to let you export important data where practical.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the information in the service (including deadlines and templates) is complete, accurate, or applicable to your situation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IEPPY and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50).
10. Termination
You may stop using IEPPY and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm IEPPY or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which IEPPY's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of IEPPY after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
